WHAT IS A MEANINGFUL BRAKE TEST?
A Meaningful brake test measures braking efficiency on each individual axle and identifies any imbalance between wheels. It provides a printed certificate showing performance against DVSA minimum standards.
WHO NEEDS IT?
HGVs, LGVs, buses, coaches and trailers operating under a standard or restricted Operator Licence should be tested regularly. Brake performance evidence is increasingly requested during DVSA roadside checks and O-Licence audits.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Testing is carried out on-site at our Manor Royal workshop using our Meaningful brake tester. The process takes under an hour per vehicle and is charged per axle. A printed certificate is issued on the same visit.
